Power Window makes noise when fully up
I have a 2000 Jeep Cherokee Classic. The driver side power window makes a loud grinding noise as the window reaches the full "Up" position. It is almost as if the window is trying to go up too far. I've removed the door panel and inspected the interior of the door panel with no luck in finding any obvious. Anyone have a clue on this? Is this a "cable-type" system on this model window? Could the cable (or gears) be slipping when the window reaches the up position?
Any thoughts would be appreciated. Kevin Beck Email: [email protected] |

Re: Power Window makes noise when fully up
Have you slammed that door hard at all lately, sometimes that knocks the stuff out of alignment and could be causing your problem.
