air-oil separator
i was getting an abnormal amount of oil in the intake of my 944 na and in the absence of any noticable blowby i am now assuming that it is the separator seals that are shot. i pulled the intake and now have the separator off and have ordered the seals. i took the top off as there is a seal there and was suprised to find that there was nothing inside e.g. baffles etc. is this how it is suppose to be and i still do not really understand how the 2 main seals if they are shot will let oil into the intake.. any clarification is appreciated sam

Re: air-oil separator
I'm gonna take a look at the plumbing on my 944 today. On my other car I strated getting lots of white smoke adn my intake was covered in oil. After looking at my air filter it was covered in oil. I replaced the PCV and problem was fixed. I have a 944 S so i'm sure if the plumbing is diferent but I'll post what I find a little later tonight.
