Infinity I30 shift lock release problem

On my Infinity I30 Year 2000, I can't shift from park to reverse by keeping the break pedal pressed and pressing the shift lock release button. I can release it using manual release provided.

I saw old threads on old models of Maxima. Is it the same? My mechanic said may be a fuse is blown or the solenoid needs replacement. Where can I find the fuse and/or solenoid. Any help is appreciated.
