In Progess "Aero" RX8

Kit arrived just before Xmas so I thought I'd make a start on it.
I think the quality of the kit has been commented on previously so I won't say anymore
So far have started to open up the rear grille & exhaust exits (not very clear in the photo) and made plastic card side skirts. I'll probably do some more work on the rear bumper and possibly change the front but I haven't decided what to do yet.
Anyway here it is in it's red plastic glory

Haven't really decided but I'm thinking of trying to get some Nissan Midnight Purple tomorrow if the local paint store can mix some up for me

Re: In Progess "Aero" RX8

I've seen those rims on quite a few models and they always look perfect, yet I was always too lazy to ask what kind they were..?

They're Aoshima Bersaglio Spoke II 19" - I got mine from Joeclaw but HLJ are taking orders - they're supposed to be restocking this month

Not as yet Steve - I've got my car booked in for MOT tomorrow so I'll hopefully get some then - thanks for your help with the paint code.

A bit more progress - I've filled in the lower gap in the front grill and finished opening up the rear.As the side skirts looked a bit boring imo -I've changed them to the ones off the Accord Wings West Wagon - just need to fix the gap at the front of the skirt.

PS/ the neon underglow is just the red plastic
