Talking programing car remote

I have a 99 jeep cherokee and i replaced the battiers on the remote and i need to find out how to reprogram it with out going to the dealer to do it can some one please help me

hey man its my understanding that the only way to prgram your keyless entry is to have a man on the inside. i was told that it requires a special programer that only a registered jeep tech can possess and operate at a valid jeep dealership. i'm presently trying to swindle a programer from my friend on the inside and if i get it i'll let all of you know.
