advise needed
i've got a ef9 civic, i have added full s/s exhaust de-cat and a free flow filter, just want some advise on what i should do next speed wise. was thinking about adding apexi safc 2 but is there any point? or uprated fuel pump? just need some sensible ideas.

What motor do you have? If it's the 1.6l, you got lots of options, if it's the 1.5l, you don't. If I had the 1.5l I'd be looking at a swap. Do you have any other mods besides the exhaust and intake. Honestly, I would do a header next - it'd give you more HP than a SAFC or anything fuel wise at this point.

More then anything it's what you have planned for the long run, along with what kind of driving conditions your in.
There is really not much you can do, after all the bolt-ons have been added. Unless your thinking about doing a swap of some kind or FI, cam(s). Most cases going with a bigger fuel pump will create more headaches/issues then it's worth. Honda has pretty much squizzed all the performance your going to get already. Unlike what we have with USDM crap, and all the extra hp gained by aftermarket this or that. Sooo, it comes back to what do you have planned/type of driving...? Just some thoughts...

Re: advise needed
i've got the jdm sir b16a engine, i read somewhere that you can swap some of the type r parts over to the b16a, what parts would really be worth swapping over? i just intend to use the car for daily driving but need it to be faster on the lower end, well am from the uk so u can guess what kind of weather is over here.

Re: advise needed
you have a b16a? then get some civic type R cams, either the type R or the skunk2 intake manifold (they are essentially the same). if you dont have a header yet, get one that is similar to the 4-1 style like the type R. if you feel like jumping into the engine a little, Civic type R pistons will give you higher compression.

Re: advise needed
Almost any b series part will swap right over. And yes, vavles and springs and retainers can all be taken from a type R and put into your b16 head.
