Talking Psi

This is my first turbo awd car and I don't know if it's normal on the turbo eclipse engines that when you turn on thee car the boost gauge went to 17psi and the rpm at 800. Cause I bought the car with this modifications allready done so I don't know what I have to spect like normal.
I don't have mayor things done in my car (3" Exhaust, greddy Intake, K&N air filter, greddy type-s BOV, autometer gauges and a greddy turbo timer coming soon) I don't know if the last owner did something in the computer, I'm just telling you the mod. that I can see.
Thanks...

(welll its vacuum, you cant have boost at idle anyway.)
What that means?, cause I send the car to the mechanic less than 1 week ago and he said that I have problems with the idle or somethin like that,
I send the car to the mechanic cause the check engine line was on and he said this:"you have a weak signal from the computer".
What I have to do to fix that problem?.
And is normal the 17 psi?

Re: Psi

If I recall, normal vacuum at idle is 17-22 inches of mercury, Hg.

Re: Psi

Well I have a gst and I get about 26 mpg highway, roughly 270 miles per tank. I think you have a problem if you are only getting 100 miles to the tank unless you have a 9 sec. car or something.

Re: Psi

I don't know what to do?
I think that this in not a 9 sec car, but I never try it
On monday i will go to mitsu dealer ship to charge my a/c system, maybe I will ask them and they can check what it's wrong.
I think that the last owner tooks away the cat flow, that is not good (legal) right?, but that could'n be the reason of my gas/milles problem!!! I guess so
