I bought new 2001 Odyssey in Nov'2000. In June 2001 at 11,000 miles van stalled on highway and was towed to dealership. Trans was replace. Again in Dec 2002 at 33,000 miles van stalled and the dealer replaced trans. Third time in Dec 2003 the van stalled for the trans problem. Honda does not accept it as lemon, they are telling me that warranty is extended for the same reason for 100,000miles. I am paranoid about this van and not able to take my whole family in the van.
I want to know if anyone had the same problem and what they have done about. Thanks sudhakar |

Re: Is it a lemon
Hello Buddy I just traded my ODDY for a new Camry because of a third Tranny failing. These trannys are a problem and you should get rid of your ODDY ASAP before you cant even trade it in.

Re: Is it a lemon
Thanks! This morning I found trans fluid leaking. I will be taking it to the dealer. Once this is fixed I will be trading it in.
