Interior detailing questions?
Hello
I've just purchased a Fujimi Civic Hatch (the new style), and have only just started building it. I was just wondering how do you guys paint your interiors. I just want this one to be black, with maybe whatever i decide on the body colour on some parts. Do you guys brush it on mainly, or spray the main colour?, and how do u get it looking realistic?, so the seats and floor look like fabric? and the console and roof look like plastic??? Also one last question, which may be other threads already. Is it worth priming all the little parts?, or just painting straight onto the plastic? Thanks alot for any help!! sarujin

Use different types of black like flat,semi-gloss,gloss then you can use something like spray furniture polish and wipe it on the flat black to give it a little sheen.
There is also "flocking" which is finely cut ,almost powdery, cloth for carpeting. Last but not least there is a product clled "moleskin" it looks like scale carpet,it's for comfort on sore feet ,Dr Scholls is a brand name ,it's adhesive backed and comes in off white but it's easy to color!:bandit: Mike
