where i can find vtec head
ok few questions..first, does anybody know where i can find a vtec head from a gsr or type r in the tampa area and for how much i could get it for? second, i have a 91 teg ls so would there be a certain year for the head i have to get and if so what year? and also is there anything else required like wiring or the ecu or somethin like that? any help is appreciated

Check junkyards, or ebay (be careful who you deal with). The b16a head is essentially the same as the type-r head, with the exception of the port/polish job and less agressive valvetrain. You might want to look into one of these if you want to spend less money. As for electronics, I believe the 91ls is obd-0, but I could be wrong. In this case you'll need an obd-0 vtec distributor, obd-0 fuel injectors, and an obd-0 vtec ecu.

You can find a complete b16 head for around $400-500 then the ecu would run you about $200, the distributor for around $150 and RC engineering injectors will run you about $300, I dunno how much oem ones would be.
