I have a 2002 Mazda Protege I bought new Fall of 2002. For winter of 2002-2003 I had nice heat in a decent amount of time. This year I have heat but it is luke warm. After driving the car in the freeway for about 45 minutes I will get better heat. Just driving around the city it gets no hotter than luke warm. It has 37,000 miles on it and I haven't yet done anything to the cooling system since the car was bought. What could be wrong with my car? |

Re: 2002 Mazda Protege-Long Heat Up Time
I imagine you checked the fluid level, because that's the first step.If the thermostat was sticking closed you motor would overheat..if it's stuck open
you'r motor would take forever to warm so it might be that. Or maybe the dash controller? Check air flow for possible blower fault. Maybe this will help.. |
