Finished:Ferrari NART Spyder
This is the Italeri kit painted with 2 coats of Mica Blue over Light Blue, 3 coats clear and polished.
Not a great kit, bad chrome, sucky tyres, dash lacking detail, car looks too big... I used tyres from Fujimi Daytona so I had to narrow the back half of the rims, I left the wipers off like some of the real ones, made up etched door locks from various etch parts, decided to leave the goofy back up light on, it's kind of quaint. It's suppose to have quarter windows but they didn't fit up to the frame after I installed the windshield so I left them off. If I build another I will glue those in first, making sure the windscreen will fit, then BMF them after painting.
