Post Changing 94 Camery wagon D/brakes

I'd like to change my rear brakes but I haven't worked on a camery berfore. I know basically how to change the pads but, I'm not sure about exactly how the procedure goes with the emergency brake and if bleeding is neccesary. Also, are ceramic brakes worth the extra bucks.

Thanks

Just replacing the pads is the same as the front. As a personal opinion the rear brakes don't wear as fast so the recommended pads are acceptable.

Re: Changing 94 Camery wagon D/brakes

Joe W is far more experienced than me, but I've found that life-time warranty pads can really pay off. It was also handy to keep the old pads from the last brake change, so that I only had to make one trip to the auto parts store. You can turn in any old pads to get the new ones under the warranty, then install the new ones and keep the ones you take off the car for the next trade-in.

There is alot to be said for Parmenides3 logic, especially if you plan to keep the car.
