ZC knockin bad please help

Well I just picked up my rex with a zc in it monday and the guy i got it from told me to get a piece of hose and hook it to the intale manifold so it would stop burning oil. well i did that and stared it up and it started knocking really bad. I drove it home and now it sounds like something is bouncing around inside one of the cylinders or something. any help would be great thanks

Check to make sure the oil pump is working. and one more thing, Dont drive it untill you figure out why its knocking. you can definitly ruin that engine if it turns out to be the pump or there really is something rattling around in there

Heres how to check if the pump is working...
first thing to do is take off the oil filter. once you got the oil filter off crank the car have a friend to check if there is oil coming out if there is you oil pump should be ok. put the filter back on and clean the area good with brake cleaner get all the oil off next thing to suspect is wrong is the oil pressure sender unit right above the oil filter just replace that and see if that help.
