98 Blazer turn signals intermittent
1998 Blazer S-10-The turn signals are intermittent. I replaced the turn signal switch assembly 1 year ago due to the clicking problem noted on other posts. Possibly there is a ground problem. Tapping on the dash or column helps for a few seconds. Any help? Also, where can I obtain a good set of wiring diagrams?

Re: 98 Blazer turn signals intermittent
do the hazards work?? and does the 3rd brakelight work? i'd say your new switch is bad because tapping the column is pretty much tapping the switch. these multifuction switches are junk gm has had a real problem with them in all their trucks. not much fun to change either

The Blazer turn signals are fixed. I found a bad connection on the black wire to the flasher unit, the female connector was not making good contact, took the wire out of the socket and modified the connector. Works great. The turn signal unit is OK.
