When should i chang my car's fuel filter?

1998 ford taurus se
Vulcan 3.0L OHV V6

I bought a used car,6,7220Miles.

which brand engine oil fits my car better?I changed it tomorrow myself,used "Castrol SYTENC BLEND".

I change mine every year (I believe service says 30,000?, but they are fairly cheap) along with a complete tuneup, transmission service and do the oil/lube/filter/full check every 3 months.

Yes,they are fairly cheap) along with a complete tuneup,but it's difficulty to change by ourself,I don't know where is it and how to change it.I change oil myself.

gas filter is under right rear kinda between back door and back tire lines are held on by plastic clips undo clip carefully lines are under pressure to avoid gas in face let car sit overnight before unhooking lines
