99 Mustang Head Rest question

How do you remove the head rest from the stock gt leather seats? Do i need any special tool?
I don't see any button to release it, there is a release button down inside the seat somewhere.

any suggestions?

Just trying to remove it to swap out the seat belt retainer clips. The stock clips are too large and bump the CDC Light Bar.
