Anyone have any magazine appearances?

hey, random question, but i was just wondering if anyone here has ever tried getting picts of their car into Honda Tuning Magazine or Import Tuner, etc?? the grassroots section of HT mag. has rides in it pretty similar to a lot of people's cars here and even the featured cars in those mags are pretty close to some people's rides here....false modesty is the devil's playground (sorry i just watched "Carrie" again last night), so be honest if anyone ever felt the desire to show off your ride in that way...

I was thinking about sending mine in to reader's rides to Super Street and be one of the few who doesn't say

"Mods: intake, muffler, and rims
Plans to add: Turbo, nitrous, body kit, suspension, and $10,000 in other parts"

so true, those mags are funny for that. my favorite when they consider their pedals,shift knob a mod. i just laugh at those. i once saw a chrysler in a mag(cant remember which mag, bone stock but a chrome lisence plate frame and they noted it.
