cheap disposable "glove"
Sometimes when I am spraying a small part that is going to be close to my hand, I use a plastic grocery bag pulled over my hand to prevent
sticky overspray. Just make sure the bag;s pulled tight over your hand (make sure that no parts are sticking up obstructing the path to the part), do a quick spray and then toss the bag. This is a lot faster and cheaper than using gloves every time My $0.02 |

Re: cheap disposable "glove"
Yeah, I have a huge box of them, something like 250 latex gloves. I got them at a hardware store on clearance for like $5.00.

I use latex gloves, but I do auto painting so the cheap stuff doesnt work. If your still in school, in your science class there should be a bunch. Or take some from the doctor, rich SOB's.
You can buy them in bulk for realtively cheap.

I actually also use bags the same way. I usually use it to hold whatever the part is mounted on (clamp, stick, bottle, whatever) to prevent overspray from getting on my arm. I use the same bag over and over until something doesn't stick, starts flaking off and makes a mess. Then I throw it away. I find it saves having to explain all the red or black or silver dots on my arm when I'm chatting up some cutie, and keeps my watch nice and clean. Good call tmathew.
