I have a major problem with my hatch. See when I try to start it, it won't even turnover. I found out that I have to hook up wires from the negative and positive terminals of the starter and touch them together while I have the ignition on ON. If I do this, it'll start. I changed the starter already but I still get the same thing. I don't know what's wrong...I am not too good on mechanical parts of a vehicle so I don't know what's wrong. Can any body out there give me a hand on how to fix this? Any help would be great.

Re: Got a problem with my EG
You either need a new ignition switch or a new nuetral safety switch(most likely ignition switch). If you dont wanna go through the trouble of installing a new ignition switch you can pick up a button from radioshack and bypass the ignition and nuetral safety switch. You can attach the 2 wires that you are touching together to start it to the switch. just becarefull if you do this you will be able to start the car in gear. But that should take care of the problem.
