a question for merlin from another tech

Merlin I have a 1998 Blazer, I have posted a thread for this before. I have a noise in the front I'd have to say r/f. It sounds like it's a bearing noise only happens in 2wd, goes away in 4wd. If the suspension starts to travel the noise changes, no change on turns. I just put ball joints in, I torqued the axle nut to spec 103 ftlbs. It's been aligned, seems like its worse. I guess my question is are there any problems with diff/axle bearings and or cvjoints. The only thing I have not done is road test with chassis ears, That will have to wait till I get back from VT. Any ideas ? Thanks Glenn
