advice on 22" tire size

I have recently ordered 22" wheels. I'll have them in 4-6 weeks. However, I'm still uncertain about the tire size. I wan't to go with 305/45/22. My question is, will these tires rub if I lower the truck 2/3 inches? Or should I go with 40 profile tires if I lower it? I much rather stick with 45 profile to prevent any damage to wheels, unless of course it'll rub too much. Is anyone else running similar setup (45 profile tires & drop kit)? ~ Thanks

I don't have the setup you're looking to get, but I'm guessing that, depending on the offset of the wheels you're getting, you might get some rubbing w/ the 45-series up front when turning. I've heard of some people getting minor rubbing even w/ 40-series, but I think that it was probably an offset issue.
