Engine Shuts off while making right turns
I have an 97 neon that has just start to shut off/stall while I am making a right turn. It only has happened while moving and if I make the turn slow enough it does not seem to be an issue. As I make a right turn, depending on the speed and how fast I am going the engine will shut off and on or will just shut off all together. I have electrical power but the engin is off. Has anyone had this issue or have any suggestions on how to troubleshoot it? Please Help!
Thanks in advance. Jarrod |

How much gas do you have in the tank? low gas can cause this!

This is a rare phenomenon, many Domestic cars seem to suffer from this.

My 98 DOHC Neon Expresso did the SAME exact thing. It drove me nuts for about a month. I had people suggest draining the gas tank, change out the computer, replace the fuel pump, etc. Turned out it was a hose clamp cutting into a wiring harness. I believe it was on top of the engine. I also had to replace a crank sensor that shorted out as a result of the wiring harness grounding out. It only took the mechanic 3 days to figure it out. If you have further questions e-mail me at [email protected] Later, AF. |
