strut bars?

alright, what do struts really do?? it just looks like a bar that goes under the hood that connects the shocks...

i'm thinking of adding small (translation: cheap) mods like CAI, struts, you know...basics...

The strut bar just stiffens the car frame, so it doesn't warp during hard cornering. They can be installed to either push outwards or pull inwards. You will notice a difference in response when you make quick turns and jerks. I think lowering the car will have a lot greater impact in terms of handling.

The best way i have heard strut bars described is, imagine a box with the top in the open position and push on the sides it is kinda easy! now close the box and lock the top in place with tape or how ever, it makes it much harder to push in on the sides of the box!

does that make scence?
