Si Blue Paint
I was thinking about painting some trim panels, and I want to do them with Si Electron Blue paint. Anyone have any laying around and have any tips for putting it on tri pieces?

Do you mean trim panels such as the door panels and around the cluster and the shifter and stuff? Do you have a airgun to paint this? Make sure everything is sanded and primered before painting it.

Unless you have an air gun, the final result won't look too good. I've seen only 1 or 2 projects involving spray cans that actually turned out decent. Good luck.

I did mine with spray paint a long time ago and it came very decent. If you do it CAREFULY w/o rushing the paint job it will come out nice,
I use a white primer first.Sanded the primer with a very light wet sandpaper and then applied color in LIGHT(that is the key) coats. I did like 4 light coats and one last coat a lil more heavy. I aplied a clear coat too after it was painted. |
