The best one I've ever seen!
Man this is really amazing! (see attached picture) it's a 1990 Yugo GV+ and just look at it - it's brand new! (or at least looks brand new) I can't imagine how somebody could keep a car - any car in this good of condition, it's over a decade old now, I know of much higher priced cars that don't even look this good after 5 years! It makes me wonder how they did it? 0-miles and garaged? - time machine? weird. Mine doesn't look even close to this good! so I guess it's time for a respray.

Somebody told me that if my GVX was in top shape it'd be worth about $1600 or so. My GVX one of only 1500 imported (or so I've been told by collectors of both FIATs and Yugos) is a rather rare car. Right now I estimate it's value at about $450-500. A repaint might be worth it.

Got that right & if there was a Subaru 360 forum, I'd be in there too.

The day they'd do that I'd become a moderator. But since the Yugo and Subaru 360 are related through Malcom Bricklin I'm happy enough with the Yugo forums (even if the categories need to be reorganized as to allow a little more logic - but I bet my suggestion wasn't even considered - after all it's only a yugo forum
)

Hmm, maybe you should consider getting a Bricklin SV-1, then you'd have a FAST rare car

I know all about the Bricklin SV-1, it should have been very successful, but Bricklin ran into production problems (in particular AMC couldn't supply him with enough engines) and the project fizzled just short of 3000 cars
It was actually inspired by the fiberglass bodied Fast-track IIs Bricklin had built on the Subaru 360 chasis (only one known to be street legal these days) It can be considered the 1970's counterpart to the 1980's DeLorean cars - unfortunately, because a Bricklin never traveled through time it's not nearly as well known or as sought after as the DeLorean (which IMHO is far less attractive)

I wouldn't have a Yugo if they started building them again. I rented one for a day when they were first imported into the US. That little car wasn't able to climb the steep hill where I lived. On the long way around the hill to get to the top, I cranked the window up because of the cold. The window handle broke-off in my hand....this on a brand new car! It was also a gutless wonder. Amazing what effect Communism has on automobile manufacturing.
