fuel system for turbo

Check this out i have a question if I have a vafc II and 550cc injectors. for my GSR TURBO do I still need a raising pressure fuel pressure reg? i have a greedy 18g plan on keeping stock internals for a while so 7-8 lbs will be tops so if i got the comp and injectors doesnt that do the job of a raising pressure regulator

Using a "afc hack" will eliminate the need for a rising fuel pressure regulator. For 7-8 psi 500cc is kinda overkill unless you plan on raising the boost in the future.

I wouldn't call it garbage, but it is a "band-aid" however. It will do the just fine until you can invest in a good stand-alone. The "afc hack" is just using some 440+cc injectors along with the AFC or VAFC. To start with, you set all the points at -40, this will allow the car to idle with the oversized injectors almost perfectley. Then you can always dine tune it on a dyno. I got my A/F to a perfect 12:1 across the board in all rpm ranges using the "hack". It works fine for lower boost cars where it might not be worth spending $500+ on a stand-alone.

Melting pistons and valves not on my list of favoritesor things to do. Rather add a 12 second time slip I'm in the 14's on a g-tech now
But today i was fucking with a turboed sohc, he seemed quick but there was no room in traffic on 95 sucks. Plus I saw a saleen mustang pulling people over, I dont know might be part of that damn agressive driving task force
