Re: problems starting

Might try disconnecting the engine coolant temp sensor up by the thermostat housing. That should simulate a cold engine and give a richer mixture. It may be going south when the engine warms up. Does it start ok cold?

Re: problems starting

I have a different brand with same prob. My quick fix was to add a resitance decade box in line with sensor. This way I can change the duration of injector open time. cheap and dirty fix.

Re: problems starting

Ellets, that sounds like a good idea. I might try that to play around with the mixture a bit. Mine seems to be running too lean to get decent acceleration.

Re: problems starting

all you have to do is put a varistor in stead of a decade box. Just take the volume control off from a old radio.BINGO.

Re: problems starting

im about to do some very extensive tbi tuning. ive been reading some info on cfm-tech.com and im about to start tuneing my tbi unit. im going to put a ajustable fuel presure regutator in along wit a in line fuel presure gauge. im going to at some point add a a ported tbi unit and some flow mached injectors, along with a injector spacer. a really good mod is to replace your 1 wire o2 sensor with a 3 wire, it seems to work alot better
