i got mine for less then that, but it doesnt have a heat shield. its not really a high flow cat at all, just a test pipe labelled as a cat.

I'm gettin one from ebay too once I get my car payed off. It's basically just a through empty pipe, my friend has one on his Integra LS and it made a big difference in his car, no restrictions from it and it makes it louder.

I meant its a straight through pipe, and that it made a good noticable difference in the power

Wow you quoted yourself...

lol.

Its called a test pipe basically.
You can make one on yourown. Take your stock one and beat a pipe throught it to remove all the mesh and such inside it.

hehe

Re: What do you think about this cat converter found on ebay?

That ebay auction is not for a test pipe. That is a catalytic converter (trust me, I just put a Carsound CATALYTIC Converter on my car). Most people who are not boosting or running a crazy NA setup benefit more from a cat then a test pipe. If you want that cool sound from running a test pipe why not just take your stock cat and mash the crap out of the insides of it.......
