transmission issues.....

ok i have a 94 740il , the automatic transmission is acting oddly, when you start out or come to a complete stop, then try to go again, it hesitates, almost as if the parking brake is on, it dont feel like a slip at all, but it does this for like 3 to 5 seconds then the transmission kicks in and the car accelerates perfectly and shifts perfectly through all gears. downshifts are also fine, its generally smooth otherwise. just as i said it doesnt want to move right away, the read suspension drops as the e-brake is on and it moves slowly forward then just kicks right in and all is fine......any help.

my 735i was doing the same thing, then it failed. I got it going again with several flushes and filter change. Some very odd scary things happened along the way like shudders, slipping and wierd noises. It seems to be very picky about the precise amount of fluid in the pan. Also my maricle elixir saved the day. I used Greased Lightning, man what a difference.
