Re: 87 body on 91 Blazer
yes. but for more than just the speedo. i would venture to say that that would be the least of your worries. you'll want to keep the harness from the 94 because of the ignition system on the motor and the electronically controlled 4l60e tranny. what body parts are bad on the 91. if its like fenders and stuff it might be easier to swap just the fenders or just the tailgate. or drop a 350 on the 87. that alot easier. lemme know if you have any ques ive swapped alot of motors on s-10s and i drive a 94 blazer with a 4.3 multiport

Re: 87 body on 91 Blazer
A tree fell on the body of the 91. so the body is pretty much totaled, and about the only thing that is still half way good on the 87 is the body, I picked up the 87 for $50.00 to try and save the 91.

Re: 87 body on 91 Blazer
oh well it can be done. i would save the gauge cluster and all of the wiring that is possible from the 91 body(brake lights, headlights, signals ect...) this will save you some hassle. and lable everything on the 91 as you take it apart. because if its digital ignition sys youll wannna make sure that you get the whole cluster so that you can monitor the engine not just the speed of the car.
