Cruise Control-What part is missing?

1999 Passat 1.8T Auto.

The cruise control is not functioning properly. It seems that I am missing a part (a clip perhaps) that should hold the rod down when the cruise control is engaged. I posted pictures in the gallery under my username (athan01) so check them out.

I would appreciate if someone can tell me what part is missing from there, or even better post a similar cruise control. I checked the engine of another 99 Passat at a local used cars dealer, but the cruise control mechanism was totally different..

I do not want to take the car to the dealer as they have been really bad in their job and they OVERCHARGED BIG TIME the last time I took it there for something else. At least if I know what part is missing, I wont get ripped off!

Many thanks

Andreas
