GT Brake question

I have an "01 GT and I've had nothing but problems with the front rotors. Thay get so hot and worp so easy I was wondering what brand of drilled and slotted rotors hold up the best. I've been looking at the AEM big brake upgrade, and was also wondering how difficult the conversion is.
And yes I'm sure my car is an 01 I do at least know my own car.

Re: GT Brake question

Ok. The stock rotors are notorious for warping. I would not suggest getting drilled rotors because they can begin to crack after 10K miles. I would suggest getting slotted rotors from Powerslot. They also have slotted and dimpled. About the same effect as drilled, but the rotor does not weaken from the drilling.

Conversion wise, there really isn't any coversion you are doing. Just putting on a new rotor.

The conversion I was refering to is to the Big Brake Upgrade that AEM sells. It gives a 12" rotor and a four piston caliper. I just figured that the mounting points are different and that things might need to be trimmed.
