First Kill

ok im driving around in my new coupe. THis is the first stick car i'v ever owned. So im driving around just because its fun to shift lol. Its about 12 o clock at night and this eclipse comes rawring up at me. Im like o god this douche wants to race me(i did nothing to entice the race, i think its cuz the car came with a muffler so it sounds good, surprisingly). He had exhaust, intake, rims, tail lights and some blue little signal looking sticker going down the side of the car(in other words the full ricer kit). It was a GS, atleast i hope it was, (nothing special but you get the point). So im like, well this is my new car, i havent got on it to see what she's got so, what the hell. Were rolling, he drops down to second (i think) and i just stay in 3rd lol at about 2.5 grand on the rpms. So were all ready and shit yada yada yada i smash the gas and just pull pull pull pull and dont even have to shift. He shifted into what i would guess is 3rd cuz there is no reason for him to go in 4th. He just says "nice car" and i give him the thumbs up and drive away lol. Nothing too special but, ya know its just my first REAL race in a stick shift. Keep in mind this is my 4th day driving a stick. I knew how but had an auto so im a lil rusty, but i can shift decent not like a first timer, but definently not like a pro either.........now im power hungry lol. And NO there were no other cars on the road im not a cunt bag like that. IT was empty and i wanted to test my baby out!!!!! so I did. Not the best of kills but i guess its a pretty close match up, power wise??

Re: First Kill

yea i know it's not much of a kill, but i had to, i mean it's my new car and havent ever really felt what a 240sx can do....since i first had the auto hatch. I know its not much of a kill but i guarantee the kid thought he had a bomb ass ride, then my stocker pwned him. I had to give him a taste of some nismo power...lol not much power but who cares.

i don't think you have to defends yourself about posting this even if it isn't what some would call a great kill or snything its still a kill

and one in your new car to boot, just about everyone gets excited about something like that

this just reminds me of when you hear those extremely loud cars I mostly encounter civics and integras here, that are screaming down the road but you can tell just by looking that they aren't going anywhere anytime soon

get it, authority, or "autority" for automatic cars. I saw it on the side of an accord before, a sticker. Some girl was driving it, she changed out the tail light bulbs to pink, it was pretty funny

I'll race you in my 5 speed RS, but before you laugh read the bottom line on my sig, lol. yea they only have 140hp, but they're still nice cars even if they're kinda slow, its still alot better than having a POS to ride around in. i can tell you from experience, NA eclipses pull pretty hard (for the hp it has) out of 1st and 2nd gear, but 3rd feels so damn tall. plenty of times i've pushed my car hard from a dead stop and i'm "yyaaaaaaaaaay" then i get to 3rd gear and there goes all my fun, lol. i'm actually suprised no ones challenged me yet, oh well, i'm still waiting for my first kill( i havent raced at all yet), so congrats man. btw, my second car will be a GSX or a 240 with a sr20 already in. meanwhile as i'm saving, i'll have fun 180ing my eclipse into parking spots τΏτ

p.s. thank god for putting another rice eclipse in its place, that shit really sickens me. as for myself, my clipse is all black with smoked taillights and black wheels on the way, so atleast i'll look good, yay me.

Re: First Kill

yea i know eclipses can be fast. My uncle has a 94 gs. He doesnt care about it...when he races he burns up all clutch and just tAAAAAAkes off for fun. He burned my boys v6 tib lol it was funny as fuck. He's a damn good driver though. He used to have an old school rx-7 (1985 i beleive) with a race engine in it from mazda. He said he used to dust porsche's all day back in the 80's lol. And another friend of mine has gsx with front mount, greddy 16g, downpipe, exhaust, and various electronics. He's got 17" gunmetal 5zigen's looks good on a silver car. Its a damn quick car.
