Unhappy Help with cd player

I have a 99 tacoma, and it did not come with a cd player, so I purchased one to install. My friend and I had it working before we put all the screws in and finished it all up. When I finished the installization however, it ceased to work. I have checked all of the fuses, looked at the connections, and everything else that we can think of. The stock system no longer works either. I don't know how it relates, but the clock isn't working anymore. If anybody can help me track the problem down, I would greatly appreciate it.

You checked all the fuses??? Did you check on just the cd player itself, or also the car's fuses??? Usually that would be the problem. Just sounds like you burnt one out. Shouldn't be a biggie.

Re: Help with cd player

did you check the fuses under the hood? I had a similar problem when I installed a CD player. The fuse I blew was in that fuse box (opposed to the under the dash)
