z4 automatic soft top

my automatic soft top currently is having a fit for some reason. i hold the button that supposedly should bring down the top, but after it disengages from the windshield frame, it doesn't move anymore. does anyone has have this similar problem?

.....damn it, shouldn't have opened and closed it so many times, this girl thought it was amusing and kept playing with it......crap.

check to see that the extra cargo shelf in the trunk is in the down position.
