RX7 seats in 6th gen Civic?

My friend has an RX7 and is planning on getting new seats (i don't know why, i love his seats..) so he offred to sell them to me.. Does anyone know if they fit.. i imagine they probably don't just bolt right in, but how much effort will probably be required? will i need to drill new holes for the mounts? any welding involved? How standard are most seats? any info would be greatly appricated..!

Well keep in mind you could get a set of aftermarket racing seats from $500-$1000 a pair tat would bolt directly in. As for the rex seats, you'ld probably need to weld the seat bottoms to the modified civic seat rails. It's definitly doable if you have the right tools and knowhow.
