Clutch Problem? '94 SC2
Hey everybody,
First of all, hello! I'm new to the forums. I own a '94 SC2, well its my father's. My brother was driving today, and hes been talking about a strange noise when shifting. Well today the car was thrown out of gear, and now when you put it in any gear, it acts like its in neutral. I haven't looked at it yet, but I can assume this is a bad clutch? One of his friends tried to tell me it was a problem with the shifter itself, but he really doesn't know what hes doing. Anyways, the question: I haven't looked at it yet, but I can assume this is a dead clutch? And question #2: Any links or info about clutch replacements on Saturns? I want to do this myself, we're BROKE. Question #3: Is there anything I could do just to get it into gear enough to drive it home? Thanks alot guys, James |

If the tranny feels normal when you put it in gear, then I would say it is a worn clutch also.
#2 I don't know. I have only had my saturn for a month. #3 Sorry to tell you this, but you will need a tow truck. Most clutches give some warning before they go completely. Like slipping at high rpms or fast acceleration. |
