Questions "A GOOD EXHAUST SYSTEM"

i want to throw a exhaust on my 91 lx.But i dont want to just throw on a muffler and have a low vroommmm.I want a nice "medium loud"tone without having to buy a catback exhaust or taking of the catalytic convertor.Ive kinda made up an idea of a custom exhaust using brand new piping.Any opinions or concerns before i do this please post immediately.

Re: Questions "A GOOD EXHAUST SYSTEM"

i have ...

4-2-1 header --> glass pack --> 2.25" --> 2" x 27" cherry bomb --> 2.25" --> 2.25" turbo muffler --> "special" custom fabbed tip to quiet it down

the first glass pack is an ebay "high flow cat" .. which is not a cat at all...

sounds very close to stock.. which is what i was going for

using a nice sized cherry bomb helps remove all the harsh ricey sounds that make it unpleasant.. your choice of muffler/tip will determine how deep and aggressive it is... or how quiet...or how loud and annoying

cherry bomb on the midpipe rox...
