Question 91 s10 headlights problems

The headlights both went out on my truck at the same time. I have checked all fuses under the dash and it isn't one of them. I have also changed both headlights. I have been told to check for fuses under the hood but cannot locate which black box they would be located in. I need to know where to look for this fuse.

Check owner's manual. Seems to me like there are some breakers in the glove box, a panel in the rear of it has to come off to get to them. Nothing under the hood for this - that I know - of on these trucks.

hey, also dont forget to check the ground for your horn. the headlight ground is run through it. there are 3 other components that use the same ground, for instance the horn, headlights and turn signals all use the same ground. i found out the hard way, by wrecking my truck in the front. check your other components to see if they work as well. you might be surprised!!

I checked inside the glove box and found the panel but when i took it off there was only some wires in there no fuses or breakers.

where do i find this ground for the horn? i really don't know what i'm looking for except for what the fuses look like. i do have a owner's manual but it's about as clear as mud that's why i'm looking for help.
i need help soon too because it's going to be raining here soon for the next 2 days and the law says here that you have to have your headlights on when it rains and you run your wipers

Re: 91 s10 headlights problems

the ground wire in located under the hood on the drivers side either right below the headlight socket or on the fender well. also try sliding the horn back and forth, if it moves try tighting it. the horn is a ground also.
