1998 cherkee sport keyless entry
The battery went dead in Jeep and then the remotes for the keyless entry stopped working. I have replaced the batteries in the remotes and still nothing. Does anybody know how to reprogram the system?

Programming 1998 keyless remote
My research indicates that the 1998 remotes can only be programmed by a dealer. I had to do this with mine several months ago. Shop around. I found prices from $0 to $75. Of course, I had mine (two) done at the dealer who did it free-of-charge. They now work fine.
