Surcharge???
I recently read in an article that the 38000 seriesII V-6 found in the fourth generation firebirds contains what they call a surcharge. Here is the quote "Those weren't the only things to rise: the V6 engine swap involved a $350 surcharge" By engine swap they mean when they got rid of the old chevy 3.4 v6 and dropped in the buick 38000 seriesII. Does anyone know what a "surcharge" is or what it does??

Re: Surcharge???
Sounds to me like the manufacturer charges $350 more for the 3800 overt he 3.1 which it is WELL worth the cost. Or should I say they did charge more.
