Angry Smoking in the car

You know what I hate. People who go on a five minute car ride and HAVE TO have a cigarette. I mean Holy Mother of ....... why? I put on a freshly cleaned shirt and now that ive been in the car and my roomate had to light up its unwearable again, until i wash it. I planned to wear it again in the next day or two b/c i've only worn it for one hour to go eat. Okay, maybe its stupid to get upset about this but it just bugs me that i have to smell like shit b/c he can't stop smoking. I don't care if i go to a club/bar/other b/c i expect it and its part of the atmosphere. But if you can't drive 5 minutes without a cigarette you got problems. :

Re: Smoking in the car

I totally agree. Same goes for eating. I will never allow anyone to smoke or eat in my car. I intend on keeping it looking and smelling like new for as long as I can.

Re: Smoking in the car

If it was in your car that your roomate was smoking then you should have a no smoking policy in it. If it was in his car then I don't see much you can do except drive to your destination yourself.

If I had your car I wouldn't even let my friends near it ...with my next car there will definitely be a no-smoking policy...depending on the food it is acceptable. I hate it when my friends have to smoke. Awhile ago my GF came with me to drop off a baby squirrel with a lung infection at a wildlife rehab place and my friend (ex-friend now) was sitting in the back with the squirrel. He was so pissed off that he couldn't smoke for the 20 minute ride to the rehab place...but he was the one who invited himself to go...Right when we got there he hoped out of the car and had a cigarette.

I hate smokers...they are weak minded...nearly all of them want to quit, but don't even have the will power to just not pick it up...just like fat people...take that fucking cheeseburger out of your mouth and then maybe you wouldn't have to complain that I'm so much thinner than you.

I’ve been like that will all the cars I’ve owned and also with other peoples cars. I show them the same respect I would my own car. Anything else is just plain rude.

The few people I know who are heavy smokers (my dad and a couple guys here at work) don't smoke in the car. They hate getting ashes all over the place.

I won't let anyone smoke in my cars at anytime for any reason.

I would NEVER let anyone smoke in my car!! I can't imagine being so addicted....I agree it's the smoker's fault that they smoke, and there are all kinds of things to help them. It's just unpleasant...think of others, not just yourself.

Heavy people, however, I feel sympathy for. Most of them started eating and not moving because they are/were depressed. Others have serious metabolism problems. It's people like you, klohiq, that make it even harder for those people. One of my best friends is morbidly obese, and she's insanely funny.

I agree with Steel. Get a clue, dick.

What a crock of shit. There are enough people who USED to be fat and have worked out a way to fix it. Excercise, diet, excercise, diet, weight training, diet, excercise, diet. It's not VERY FUCKING HARD TO UNDERSTAND.

Obviously you have no idea what an addiction is like. It's not as simple as just up and quitting for some people. Nicotine is a drug and people can get easily addicted to it. Once most people actually do quit the craving for nicotine may never go away.

Re: Smoking in the car

My car smells like smoke from the previous owner so its kinda stuck in the car as it is, however if anyone wants to smoke in my car they should have the courtesy to ask permission and open the window. And if its raining or really god damn cold, wait 10 minutes and don't smoke in my car while you let all the rain in. Really, I hate when people light up without asking first if I mind.

If you smoke in my car i will throw you out! that's why i removed any ashtrays ar anything that can be used as an ashtray. And why i bought a omni that was not smoking equipped. = s in my car!
But it can also mean that i'm obsessed with my Omni and I don't want it to get dirty.......
