I was wondering if anyone knew or has had experience removing door panels off a 1991 G20 (in order to access the front speaker). I have removed all the obvious screws (3 on bottom, one on left side by the catch, and two by the hindge). Is there something else I need to take off or unscrew? The bottom of the panel seems to want to come off, but the top (by the window) seems to be clasped or hooked onto some unseen part. Do you guys have any idea on whats goin on and how to get this damn thing off?

This is what I did with the Primera but G20 should be the same.
After removing the 6 visible screws as you've stated before, carefully prise out the plastic trim from around the doorlock. Prise out the electric window switch from the armrest/handle and remove the screw located there. Release the securing clips around the edges of the panel then slide the panel vertically upwards and it will come off. Once all the screws are out it is only held on by a central locating pawl (kind of a hook pointing downards). Sliding the panel upwards releases this although you might have to flex it a bit around the doorlock so it clears. Once it's off just undo the window switch harness if necessary.

You need to remove the back seat, then the parcel shelf is just held down with snaps locks front and back (by rear window). Once the shelf is off you can get to the speaker screws.

I changed the rear speakers on a p10 without taking out the seats totaly. just fold them down, and take off the clips you can see on the rear deck. there are two hidden ones, they are behind the seat bolsters, justkinda pull them forward and use a flat head screw driver to pop them out. then just lift the deck up and you should have enough room to swap out the speakers.

front door: 2 on side 3 on bottom 1 behind window switch 1 behind door handle. unsnap clips around panel. pry under door handle and slide panel up and off. installing is harder because you have to get that central slide clip. MAKE SURE when taking off panel that you don't rip up by the side view mirror this is notorious.
rear SOLID seat: pull up on early P10 or pull tab to release clip and then pull up on 2 tabs (1 on each side, right between your legs if you were to sit down). for solid BACK rest: simply push rest up from bottom to unclip. VOILA
