Unhappy 90+ factory alarm ?? want it gone!

Well, my Nissan factory alarm has disabled my car for the second time due to whatever random problem it is having. I had to have the car towed to the dealer because nobody will touch it with this alarm thing. Basically, there's a bad wire somewhere that's causing the alarm to false ON and never shut off. So, someday at random when I open the door - the alarm goes active, disables the starter, and does the lights/horn thing. I'm tired of paying $250 a shot every time this happens just so I can get stuck in another parking lot somewhere again and then have to pay a tow truck on top of that! Sometimes it seems to go months, other times it's a few days or even a few hours after they 'fix' it. I'm tired of having them try to fix it now and I've been trying to impress upon them that I don't really need this alarm in the car as the only person it seems to stop is ME.
Somebody (AnYbOdY) please tell me there's a way to permenantly remove, disable, purge, or otherwise kick the factory alarm out of my car. The dealer is 'looking into it' right now, but they're not sure that it can be done. They told me that there is a chance that by removing it by any means they will permenantly disable my car and it will be extremely expensive to fix then. My thought is that they just don't want to lose their 100% return business next time (and every time) this happens to me because I find it hard to believe that Nissan would force that alarm to be on 100% of the time without some way to turn it off or kill it.

As for the specifics of my problem, apparently there's something wrong with the signal that the alarm sensor gets from the door lock. It doesn't recognize the key as having been inserted and turned to unlock the door. The alarm stays active after the key has been correctly used and when the door is open it fires off. Pulling the battery cable for a couple days does not seem to make it stop as it is still 'hot' when it comes back up and closing the hood, door, or hatch simply sets it off again. I do not know what the dealer does to make the car start again after this happens and they don't seem willing to tell me.
Thank you,
Wade

Thanks!

Thanks to those who dropped me a line - with the information I got the dealer was able to figure it out. I greatly appreciate it as I don't think they would have removed it on their own as they seemed quite stumped.
Thanks,
Wade

Probably just removed the alarm module. There isn't any ill sideaffects to it's removal. It's located in the passenger footwell near the ecu.
