I am an automotive enthusiast trying to learn more everyday and i ran into a great car for me to learn on a ford mustang. Its been giving me problems ever since i got it. I did not help the problems when i made a slight mistake inserting a security system but thats not what i need help on. when i start up the car it does not give me truoble till i drive a slight bit and it starts squeaking like crazy it does not really change at all as i drive not even when i turn but when i slow down to a stop so does the squeak and for some odd reason it will stop all together later if i drive it for awhile the squeak stops but then if i park it then start goin it starts i also checked all the oils and the fluids and they r all up to par.
PLEASE I NEED ASSISTANCE!!!!!!! I was thinking it was my power steering pump but would it squeak like that? If needed the mustang is a '92 2.3L 4 cylinder automatic with about 95,000 miles on it. Thank You Matt P.S. The front head light(left) acts up also dimming if i hit a bumb and if it is dimm that blinker does not work, and the fuel gauge sensor is broken but it does have gas. |

Well here's a way to test if its the power steering pump or not. Lift your car up in the front to where the wheels are off the ground. Now start the car. Then turn the wheel all the way to the left very slowly and then all the way to the write very slowly, turn it back and forth 20-30 times and be patient, dont do it fast. The power steering pumps tend to have little air bubbles, and that gets them out. Try that.
