97 e39 overall

What do you think about the 97 e39? I have one w/ 62K on it and, although the car handles well, and looks pretty good, I wouldn't quite say the e39 is the benchmark by which all other sedans are judged. Am I missing something?

Also, my car has the sterring wheel shimmys at 58-62 mph and the steering wheel is huge, but is kind of thin. Is there a good aftermarket wrap to fatten the wheel up?

I may trade it next year for a 330 conv. or m3....depending on when the new model comes out.

Re: 97 e39 overall

if your steering wheel is shaking u should check your joints and links on the front tires, it was happening to me and that was the problem also make sure u have your tires balanced because that will also cause the shimmying
