need an ac system

ywassup guys/gals i have no ac system at all u think its worth it to get the parts and have it put in im in new york so its only a few months of heat plus i work during the day. i have a 93 lx manual

ac system are expensive and getting a used system runs u the chance of getting a bad one and i dont think new yorks get that hot during the summer?

I have a good compressor and condensor with fan off of a 93. I swapped to r134.........Works good......offer??

I use the H265 AC. Highway, 2 windows @ 65mph. Just remember, the AC will make your car drag a little and kill your gas mileage also. I've been without my AC for this and last summer, and it does suck when it's 80-95 and humid (I'm in Syracuse, so I assume the weather isn't too much different). But I'd still rather open my windows than have to fill my tank ever few days (instead of once a week or 2). Though it does suck having to go somewhere and still sweat more inside my can that outside. But you're lucky enough to have 4 power windows in your LX, so I'd say skip it.

We are talking about Honda Civics.......lol.........Just how bad can the mileage be......Try driving my vette around with the A/C on......HAHA.

i was thinking of utting in a mini tower fan with an ac-dc converter

Ok, maybe not kill your gas mileage; but you'll certainly notice a big difference.
