Grease Zerts
I've got a 99' Passport and am wondering how many and where the grease zerts are. I've only found two u joints on the ends of the drive shaft so far that have zerts. Just want to make sure I'm not missing any other ones.
Thanks in advance for any replys. Bryan |

Re: Grease Zerts
you should have zero. I'm surprised you have them on the drive shaft? I know the trooper has them but not the Rodeo. Anyone want to peak under there truck to confirm (I've looked like 3x and have never seen them).

they are on the u joints, not actually the drive shaft. I just want to make sure there aren't any other spots to keep greased besides the slip yoke and u joints.

All vehicles have been zerkless for several years.
It saves money when they are new and manufacturers feel that the life of a car is 100k and supply everything with "permenant lubed parts" When you do any replacment there will be zerks on those parts Mike |

Interesting.
My 99 Rodeo has at least one zert on the drive shaft u joint for the rear differential. I'll check the other end today. As far as I know the factory supplied joints have never been replaced.
