87 crx stereo installtion help !! please !
i jus got a whole bunch of new stereo stuff for my car for xmas...i took out the original headunit, and went to install my new one (kenwood kdc-mp522)...i went out an got a wiring harness for 86+ hondas, spliced all the wires together..except i can't find where to attach the battery wire(yellow one)!! anyone have any suggestions? also there's no place to attach the dimmer wire from the car to the headunit, is that a big problem? what can i do? please help !!

the battery wire (constant + 12V) is hooked to a source that is on even when the car is off. The clock has one, and some cigarette lighters do to. If the CD player does not keep it's settings and presets, you don't have it hooked to the right place. The dimmer wire is hooked to a place that has power when the (parking) lights are on. Again, the clock has that, as does any of the lit switches.
